 <abstract xml:lang="en">
 <p>Morphometric indicators and biomass accumulation by Ageratum houstonianum Mill. and Calendulae officinalis L. seedlings were studied under conditions of copper ions pollution of the growing medium at different levels of their concentration, with an assessment of the toxicant effect on the growth of the root system and the above-ground part of plants, as well as the identification of specific features of resistance to copper stress.</p>

 <p>Исследовали морфометрические показатели и накопление биомассы проростками Ageratum houstonianum Mill. и Calendulae officinalis L. в условиях загрязнения среды произрастания ионами меди при различных уровнях концентрации, с оценкой влияния токсиканта на рост вегетативных органов и накопление биомассы, а также выявлением видов устойчивых к медному стрессу.</p>
